The Spirit of God in Prisons: Mount Paran’s lay prison team provides ongoing teaching and discipleship to thousands of incarcerated men and women in over twenty state and federal institutions. Going into the Community: The brand new Mount Paran ministry trailer is scheduled to go to many communities in and around Atlanta this summer and fall. Join a team committed to have fun, worship, hold concerts, teach, lead drama, and hold sidewalk Sunday school. Workers are always welcome to assist with sound, set up or take down. SafeHouse Worship Service in Urban Atlanta is the second Sunday of each month at 6 pm. Mount Paran’s Urban Ministry Team provides a hot meal and the Bread of Life to nearly two hundred homeless men and women. This worship service is growing in both number and depth.
The first Saturday morning of each month is a time of helping people with great physical and spiritual needs. Join an adopt-a-block team and build life altering friendships with those living on your adopted city block. Monthly home visits are a great forum for shepherding your very own flock with the help of your adopt-a-block team captain.
Female lay counseling: Mount Paran women are trained to serve as a volunteer lay counselor to women of all ages in crisis pregnancies. Join this effort as we partner with the Atlanta Care Center located in the heart of Buckhead and preserve the sanctity of life.
Mount Paran’s newest continental missionary is Sylvia McMullen in Tucson, Arizona. Sylvia would appreciate your prayer for continued favor as she shares the love of Christ and tutors children on a local reservation.
First Guest Team - Perhaps it has been a while since you were brand new to a church. Hopefully you have not forgotten what it was like to step into a new church and feel as though you were home. Become a part of a Guest Reception Team. You will continue to play a vital role in exercising biblical hospitality. Teams serve one Sunday a month.
